Perfectmatch.com is an absolute JOKE! I had my profile for a week and within that time, not one person accessed my account in any way, shape or form. I'm not a supermodel, but I am an attractive, professional female. I would have anticipated at least ONE hit. What a total waste of $60. It's terrible to navigate and the expert's "read" on me was so far off I thought it must have been some canned schpiel they just crank out. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

In summary, I would not recommend Perfect Match to a friend.

Note: "Terms of Use" - Section 15. "Termination"

"You may terminate your Account, membership and/or subscription with us at any time, and termination will be effective immediately upon receipt of notice in accordance with Section 31. Subject to our 3-day cancellation policy discussed below, WE DO NOT PROVIDE REFUNDS OR CREDITS FOR ANY AMOUNTS PREPAID BY YOU AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ANY REFUND FOR ANY UNUSED DAYS OF ANY SUBSCRIPTION TERM."

Notice the "3-day cancellation policy" means nothing... it's that way for a reason!

I found out within an hour of signing up this site would be no use to me. There is no way to tell if the profile you are looking at is active. When was the last time this person was online? I found profiles which referenced stuff from 2006!
The "Perfect Match" feature was useless to me. Very rarely would I have a "match" which was of interest to me. Until they give you options to define a "perfect match"... it's useless.

Bottom line: I don't think this site is as popular as claimed to be and until they can prove to you the profiles you are looking at are active users... NOT... (Read the full review)

I would say that this site is pretty darn close to PERFECT! They set me up with a great match and I am falling in love more and more each day. While I remember the sign up process was LONG I think that it was worth while - it is meant to really get to know you and make sure that you are not judged on just one question. While I wasn't successful in getting tons of dates with every guy I chatted with, I was successful in getting a few. The first few dates just didn't work out fantastic, but the 4th date I went on was fantastic. We knew instantly that we had a unique connection. I would not have met Al any other way, except for through PerfectMatch. It was like the connection that helped us find each other. If you find your true love its definitely worth the money. Its easy to use and has some great features. I would recommend this site to my friends.

Do not waste your money on this site. Data base is so out dated.
The only hits I received were from foreign women wanting to sell "special" pictures of themselves.

I wrote to 8 or 9 women over a period of a couple of months, both ones suggested to me by the site as a "perfect match" (quite a bit of hyperbole -- "How about trying your luck with this one?" would have been more accurate and honest) and ones found through the search function. One woman briefly wrote back just to say she got my e-mail, but then did not respond again when I wrote back to her. None of the others ever wrote back. And no one ever took the initiative to write to me first. I have to wonder if a lot of the listings are actually obsolete, but kept on the site anyway to fill it out. To think so many women would not even bother to write back with a diplomatic "Thanks, but no thanks" is too cynical a guess, even for me. I can think of no other possible explanation. Also: half the actual profiles were temporarily (?) closed, making them realistically non-existent. Many also had no photos and/or no personal comments, only the mechanical, multiple choice type answers allowed by the profile system. That... (Read the full review)
