Not worth the money

The site is too expensive and there is such a small pool of people that engage. Within that small group of people that choose to engage (pay the overpriced membership fee), most of them are not serious and are just kind of playing an expensive game. Also, eHarmony does not cater to people in their mid to upper 30s or low 40s. eHarmony permits individuals to lie about their age as well. Stay away from this provider.

In summary, I would not recommend eHarmony to a friend.

I joined eharmony in 2010 and met the most wonderful man in the world. I lived in Alabama and was matched with my now husband in Virginia. Eharmony was right on it. We have so much in common. After emailing and talking for a year we were married in 2011. In March we will celebrate our third anniversary. There are a lot of dating sights out there, and a lot of weirdos. Eharmony finds your matches for you and you feel safe and secure. I am so glad I found Eharmony. I have never been happier. I have a wonderful husband and an awsome stepfather.

In summary, I would recommend eHarmony to a friend.

E-harmony , waste of time

A few yrs ago, I was recommended to eharmony. I signed up (super long questionnaire ) and ignored it. Initially they emailed me of matches, then emails stopped. Lately I got emails again so was kinda curious and logged in. Some matches were inactive for ages, while only one seemed ok.
Since you need to pay to write back responses, I decided to invest and pay up.
Guess what happened... The moment I payed up, they suddenly banned me.
Pls read online more on eharmony, they can ban u anytime without providing any reasons.
That's amazingly rude.
Had to swamp them with continuous refund requests over n over. Their automated email response to call them is impossible as it will cost me a bomb.
Sadly, I am single, educated and working but I got kicked for no reason whatsoever.

Don't waste your time with e harmony.

In summary, I would not recommend eHarmony to a friend.

I Met My Husband on E-Harmony

I met my husband in March 2006 on e-Harmony. I believe I was only on the site for less then a month when this happened. The initial questionnaire is lengthy, but is used in the process of finding a match for you. The site is very safe as well. If you get to a point in which you feel you do not want to continue communication with a particular person, then you can stop without being harrassed or stalked. I recommend this site to anyone who is serious about finding love.

In summary, I would recommend eHarmony to a friend.

EHarmony works!

I was sent 25 matches in the first week alone. One of the matches was Keith. We went through each step given us. Then went to open chat and finally he gave me his number to call him. Our first phone call was 4 hours long. I hadn't talked that much on the telephone since high school. I found that we lived less than a mile away from each other. We dated a year when he proposed on Christmas Eve and married the following year. We have been married for 6 years now and are very happy. Thank you, e-Harmony!

In summary, I would recommend eHarmony to a friend.

eHarmony Gave Me Nothing for $134.00 and 3 months of effort
18 April 2011
Reviewer: Cassiopeia from Berkeley, CA

I joined eHarmony on the advice of a friend in Jan 2011, and paid $134 for 3 mos. I wrote up my profile & put in photos. I am an average - not gorgeous but not ugly - blonde 49-y.o woman, not overweight, employed, well-educated. Young-looking & definately above average looks & accomplishments for my age. I am divorced & share care of 2 kids.

So, I got "matched" with 200+ men by eHarmony. I looked at lots of 'em, and contacted about 25 of them. Only ONE of these ever contacted me back - and he, alas, was SOOOO conservative - definately not a match.

Do you think that any one other man on this site EVER contacted me? Nope. Not a one. Now, if a few ugly old fat farts had contacted me (and there were plenty of them), I'd think that at least eHarmony really did have their technical processes working here. But no, not one of the old fat farts, even. So I finally contacted eHarmony and asked for a refund. The answer, of course? No way. $134 down the drain -... (Read the full review)

In summary, I would not recommend eHarmony to a friend.
