I have been a full member of this site for about an hour now, but I feel that I have been duped.

I must have missed the small print where it pointed out that you cannot even perform a basic search! That's right, you're stuck with whatever 'matches' the site comes up with for you, and does not take into account any personal preferences you may have. How ridiculous is that for a dating site?

Okay, so here's the rundown:

- You start building your profile by answering a very thorough series of questions. Although the results are never completely accurate, I do like having these extra resources to compliment each profile. This is one thing the site does well.

- You then complete your profile by adding a personal statement, along with a photo if you wish. However, you may also choose to keep your photo(s) hidden, and only allow people you're interested in to view them, which is what most people seem to choose. Personally, I don't understand this feature, as it discourages the photos being displayed at all.
